About the role:
We have a newly created opportunity available for a Dispute Resolution Officer / Dispute Owner reporting to our Accounts Receivable Team Leader. The role is responsible for overseeing and resolving any financial or service-related disputes between Schindler and our customers.
As the successful applicant, you will conduct thorough investigations of issues while ensuring timely resolutions. The objective will be to minimise any financial losses and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Accountabilities:
- Take ownership of disputes raised by collectors and ensure they are monitored through to resolution.
- Analyse the root cause of customer issues, using system data and process knowledge.
- Support collectors in identifying the right resolver or course of action for particularly complex disputes.
- Track and follow up on resolution progress and ensure timely closure.
- Maintain accurate records of dispute types, resolution timelines and make progress or lack of such transparent by Region, Department, Individual, etc.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve upstream processes and reduce recurring disputes.
- Maintain and build relationships with Operations and the Regional General Managers in particular, in order to engage the whole organisation in dispute resolution.
- Drive and hold regular meetings with stakeholders to push dispute closures, run continuous drumbeats as required.
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience in credit control, dispute management or general accounting roles.
- Understanding and Knowledge of the dispute process
- Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
- High attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with a proactive approach to customers
- Advance skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Previous experience using High Radius, SAP or a similar ERP system will be highly valued
