About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Contracts Administration Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end contract administration function across our construction and service business, ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.
You will lead a national team, oversee contract set-up and financial processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role is based in our Head Office in Alexandria and plays a key role in supporting branches nationally.

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead, motivate and manage the National Contracts Administration team to deliver high-quality support to branches and customers
- Oversee end-to-end contract administration, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all service contracts
- Manage contract set-up, changes, and maintenance across systems such as SAP and Optimus
- Ensure financial integrity through contract billing oversight, reconciliations, and audit processes
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of contract data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide training, coaching, and development support to team members and branch stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes and systems
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure high levels of customer service
- Promote and drive a strong safety culture aligned with Schindler’s OH&S standards
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a contracts administration or accounts role, preferably within construction or a related industry
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a team
- Diploma in a business-related discipline (degree preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of contracts, contract lifecycle management, and financial processes
- Advanced knowledge of SAP (particularly contracts) and Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with quality systems, audits, and process improvement initiatives is highly desirable
