ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Injury Management & Claims Advisor to join our team based in Alexandria, NSW.
Reporting to the National EHS Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of Schindler's EHS Management System while managing workers' compensation claims, injury management and return-to-work programs nationally. Working closely with employees, managers, insurers, rehabilitation providers and key stakeholders, you will drive positive health, safety and rehabilitation outcomes across the business.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Formal qualification in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Relevant Return to Work Coordinator accreditation
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar Workers Compensation or Injury Management role
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation and injury management practices
- Experience managing return-to-work programs and workers' compensation claims
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Experience within construction, manufacturing, industrial, mining or lift industries will be highly regarded
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs to achieve best outcomes for employees and the business
- Coordinate injury management plans, rehabilitation programs and suitable duties
- Liaise with insurers, rehabilitation providers, managers and medical practitioners
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures, legislation and company standards
- Maintain accurate records, reporting and claims management data
- Assist in the development and review of EHS and injury management policies and procedures
- Drive a positive safety culture and continuous improvement across the business
