About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver / Storeperson to join our team.
This is primarily a driving role, with around 70–80% of your time spent on the road delivering and collecting materials, equipment and parts across our operations. The remaining 20–30% of the role involves supporting warehouse activities, including loading and unloading trucks, moving stock, and assisting with general warehouse operations.
This position would suit someone who enjoys being behind the wheel, takes pride in safe and efficient deliveries, and is happy to roll up their sleeves and support the warehouse team when required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Truck Driving
- Safely operate company vehicles to complete deliveries and collections.
- Transport materials, parts and equipment between Schindler branches, suppliers and customer sites.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are maintained in a safe operating condition.
- Secure loads and ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
- Manage delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Represent Schindler professionally when interacting with customers and site personnel.
Warehouse Support
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Assist with receiving and dispatching goods.
- Move stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Support inventory management and stock control activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current HR Driver's Licence
- Forklift Licence (LF) preferred.
- Proven experience in a truck driving role.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to assist with warehouse duties when required.
