About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our New Installations and Modernisation operations across Victoria. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving consistent financial performance, business growth and operational excellence across our construction portfolio. You will lead a team of Project Managers and field personnel, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget while maintaining strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Project Manager looking to further develop their leadership career within a global industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all New Installations and Modernisation operations across Victoria. 【1-cf3220】
- Ensure delivery of all contracts on time, within budget and to customer expectations. 【1-cf3220】
- Manage forecasting, budgeting and financial performance across the portfolio. 【1-cf3220】
- Review and approve Authorities to Commence Work (ACW) and project cost controls. 【1-cf3220】
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants and other key stakeholders. 【1-cf3220】
- Lead, coach and develop Project Managers, field teams and subcontractors. 【1-cf3220】
- Drive compliance with quality assurance procedures and operational processes. 【1-cf3220】
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to workplace health and safety requirements. 【1-cf3220】
About You
You are a driven operational leader with a proven track record of delivering successful construction projects, developing high-performing teams and achieving strong commercial outcomes within a project-based environment.
What You'll Bring
- Degree qualification in Management, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience as a Construction Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Project Manager within the lift, construction, HVAC, fire, security, electrical or similar industries.
- Strong leadership and business management capability.
- Proven experience managing operational budgets, forecasting and project financial performance.
- Strong stakeholder management, customer relationship and contract negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing unionised workforces.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and customer outcomes.
Highly Regarded
- Experience in the lift industry.
- Knowledge of project delivery within commercial construction environments.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance systems and construction processes.
- Experience leading large operational teams across multiple projects.
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and operational performance.
