About the Role

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Repairs Sales Consultant to grow our repairs portfolio and drive sales performance across South Australia. Reporting to the Existing Installations Manager, you will identify and convert repair opportunities, build strong customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Working closely with Service Technicians, Operations teams and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in driving sales growth, achieving regional targets and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert repair sales opportunities to achieve growth targets. 
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, customer engagement and relationship management.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business and portfolio growth. 
  • Prepare, present and negotiate quotations, proposals and tenders.
  • Conduct site surveys and recommend tailored repair and upgrade solutions.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from enquiry through to project handover.
  • Work collaboratively with Service, Operations and Technical teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. 
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and sales reporting. 
  • Promote Schindler's commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction. 

About You

You are a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and delivering results. You thrive in a customer-focused environment, enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and are passionate about growing business through exceptional service and commercial acumen. While experience in the lift industry or a similar technical environment is highly regarded, we are equally interested in people with the drive, ambition and passion to succeed in sales. What You'll Bring

  • Experience in sales, business development or account management within the lift industry or a related technical industry. 
  • A passion for sales, building relationships and achieving results. 
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills. 
  • Experience preparing quotations, proposals and tenders. 
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a customer-first approach. 
  • A current driver's licence. 

Highly Regarded

  • Experience within the lift and escalator industry. 
  • Knowledge of lift repair and modernisation solutions. 
  • Experience managing pipelines, forecasting and CRM systems. 
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and project delivery environments.
  • Technical understanding of AS1735 Lift Code requirements.
