About the Opportunity
Savills Property Consultancy is a team of specialists within an integrated global property company. Comprising inhouse researchers, town planners, economists, analysts, property consultants and project managers, our Property Consultancy team is a national service offering which draws on intricate industry knowledge, long-standing experience and current market trends to deliver bespoke advice in relation to strategic and statutory planning, property economics and transaction management.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Analyst to become an integral part of our Property Consultancy Team. This will be achieved through a strong focus on delivering client work, building client relationships, supporting the Team’s Directors to secure new work opportunities, contributing to the achievement of established business targets, and developing the skills of more junior team members.
You will be able to showcase your strong ability to work with senior team members to undertake financial and economic analyses, financial modelling, and/or economic/property research.
As an Analyst in our Property Consultancy Team, you will be provided with opportunities to contribute to driving the ongoing profitable business growth and development of our property economics offering. The potential to work across the broader Savills business will form part of your typical day.
Our growing team is looking for someone who can work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
Key responsibilities will include;
- Conduct detailed analytical research across a wide variety of property sectors.
- Liaise with external information sources including developers, real estate agents, local councils and State agencies.
- Prepare property feasibilities.
- Participate in market sounding processes and need / demand analysis.
- Undertake due-diligence investigations on a variety of assets.
- Prepare reports and presentations for clients.
- Assist with procurement and management of consultants.
- Assist the development and implementation of project plans, programmes and budgets.
- Contribute to achieving revenue targets through strong service delivery and project management.
What Sets You Apart
This position would suit someone who has a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with a property and consulting background and a demonstrated combination of the following competencies:
- At least 3 years’ experience in the property industry.
- Relevant industry-related tertiary qualifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with property feasibility and property investment models (Estate Master, Forbury or similar and Excel).
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills and critical analysis.
- An understanding of, and experience in, critical analysis and provision of advice to stakeholders.
- Strong experience sourcing and analysing property and demand data and forecasting methods
