About the Opportunity

Join a pioneering team dedicated to driving innovation and efficiency through Service Integration and Management (SIAM). As a Technical Functional Consultant, you'll be part of the SIAM onboarding team, responsible for bringing new service providers into our environment. We're committed to delivering exceptional services to the Australian public and ensuring the highest standards of IT service management.

We are seeking a talented Technical Functional Consultant to play a crucial role in analysing the technical requirements of incoming service providers and ensuring seamless integration into our customers environment. You'll collaborate closely with ServiceNow and process experts to design and implement solutions that meet our evolving needs. Day to day duties and responsibilities:

  • Convert onboarding requirements into ServiceNow technical requirements, ensuring alignment with the customers standards and processes.
  • Execute gap analysis on performance measures and design solutions for SLA definitions to meet service level requirements.
  • Capture and prepare Data upload sheets for Users, Contracts, Groups, Application Services, Technical Services and Service Offerings.
  • Provide mentoring for associate ServiceNow developers, guiding them in no-code/low-code configuration tasks.
  • Participate in onboarding workshops as a ServiceNow subject matter expert, sharing insights and best practices.
  • Define templates for process and business analysts to convert onboarding requirements into toolset build, promoting efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other ServiceNow platform teams to define technical requirements and ensure interoperability and having reporting requirements in mind.
  • Populate and validate completed ServiceNow onboarding templates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.

 

Keen to get involved? You’ll just need some of the following:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Able and willing to participate in a Pre-engagement integrity checks (PEIC)
  • Experience in ServiceNow ITSM Implementation
  • Demonstrated working experience and understanding regarding CMDB and CSDM V4 data model.
  • Demonstrated Experienced in Creation, population and designing of Service mapping, service configuration and CI relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating supplier contracts and Service levels.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL 4 principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in configuring SLA definitions and ServiceNow Configuration.
  • Knowledge of groups, roles, and security within the ServiceNow platform and ability to develop reports and dashboards when required.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audience.
