Kinetic IT are searching for a passionate Network Engineer to join our team. If you’re self-motivated and enjoy working collaboratively, this role is for you.

You’ll be part of our managed services delivery team, working onsite with our customer based in Canberra. Your role will see you focused on Cisco networking infrastructure, along with ongoing initiatives to ensure the network environment is robust and aligns with best practices and future state architecture.

KEEN TO GET INVOLVED? YOU’LL JUST NEED SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and IOS-XE.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, and NAT.
• Network security expertise with firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP for load balancing and application delivery.
• Driving improvements and innovation.
• Strong written communication for clear documentation.
• Understanding of ITIL Framework.
• Availability to work to an on call roster

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Australian Government security clearance (essential)
• Cisco and network certifications
• ITIL certification (desirable)
