ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will be a key member of the Infrastructure Team, assisting in the deployment and maintenance of ICT systems while providing enhanced technical support to end users. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by effectively troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

Day to day duties include:

• Assist in planning, deploying, and maintaining ICT systems to meet evolving business needs.
• Handle infrastructure-related requests and enhance incident support escalated from the Service Desk.
• Investigate and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams.
• Create, review, and maintain knowledge artefacts to support both internal teams and the Service Desk in resolving first-point-of-contact issues.
• Identify trends, document Problem Records, and conduct initial investigations to support escalations to resolver teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including Service Desk and Network teams, to address challenges and improve processes.

Keen to get involved? You’ll need:

• Familiarity with tools like Azure, Veeam Backup, vSphere, LogicMonitor, Dell hardware, and Active Directory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a team.
• A proactive approach to resolving issues and working under pressure.
• Willingness to spend initial weeks on-site to integrate with the team and later transition to a hybrid work model.
