We are seeking an Incident Coordinator to join the Major Incident Management team (SIAM) for our Federal Government account located in South East Canberra.
In this role, you will prioritise, coordinate, and help resolve high-priority (P1/P2) incidents. You’ll work closely with the wider SIAM teams to ensure the quick restoration of ICT services. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships are essential, as you will interact with the executive team regarding escalated queries and support.
If you have IT experience from a Service Desk or a similar process role, along with a solid understanding of incident management, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities will include:
• Working across a 24/7 rotating roster with 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
• Managing and coordinating incident responses, with a sound understanding of incident management processes.
• Preparing clear, high-level summaries and briefings for executive-level stakeholders.
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of Major Incident Management processes through Continual Service Improvement practices.
• Building and maintaining strong, effective stakeholder relationships within a customer-focused environment.

• A flexible and adaptable approach, particularly in dynamic or fast-paced settings
• A proactive mindset with a desire to grow within the Service Management field
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Current AGSVA Security Clearance (essential)
