About The Role

We are currently seeking to appoint a Director of Business Excellence & Sustainability, being a key role within our Corporate Performance business unit at Kinetic IT. This area of the business is the strategic enabler of corporate performance, providing connection between Board, strategy, business planning and performance in driving sustainable value, business excellence, continual improvement and organisational clarity & confidence.

As the Director of Business Excellence & Sustainability, you'll lead a team dedicated to cultivating continuous business efficiency and sustainable excellence. You'll design and guide strategies that optimise service quality, embed innovation for enhanced productivity, ensure customer satisfaction, and shape our sustainability roadmap.

The core responsibility of this role is to drive targeted efficiencies across both our service delivery and corporate functions. This requires a holistic and flexible approach to unlocking productivity throughout the business. Having a Lean mindset, the role will lead collaboration closely with cross-functional teams to focus on identifying & guiding opportunities to streamline workflows, consider automation, and enhance decision-making.

The Business Excellence & Sustainability team is also responsible for our customer feedback, advocacy & satisfaction process, Quality Management System certification (ISO9001), efficacy of our enterprise risk framework (ISO31000) and assurance of our management system effectiveness (including Information Security Management, H&S, Quality and Environment).

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Previous director level role at a Big 4, consultancy or other organisation advising & guiding business efficiency through Lean or similar practices.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring a team to advance sustainable business value and continual improvement.
  • Understanding or working practice with GenAI models and AI tools/platforms in unlocking business efficiency.
  • Experience of risk management (ISO31000) and Quality (ISO9001) practices, along with an understanding of the ITIL framework would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage relationships & engage senior stakeholders on a cross-functional basis.
