About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Radiographer who is ready to take the next step in their career as the CT Lead for Victoria. This new role, which will be based out of both clinic and head office, will have responsibility for the CT modality across Victoria.
The part-time position (4 days per week) will be encouraged to maintain 1 day a week of scanning to maintain capability, this position will initially be offered on a 12-month fixed term basis.
As part of this leadership role, you will have responsibility for developing CT modality governance across the state whilst ensuring training and development processes are standardised across the state. The role will involve significant travel requirements to the various clinics across the state.
You will be responsible for
- The clinical leadership of the CT Radiographer workforce across the state
- Lead the design, development and delivery oversight of CT training programs, maintaining a climate of continuous learning and improvement across the network
- Contributing to quality and safety initiatives
- Contribute to driving operational excellence
- Oversee professional development and training of qualified Radiographers
- Support recruitment and retention
- Drive innovative and strategic initiatives
- Excellent customer service provisions coupled with good teamwork amongst clinical staff, whilst maintaining a professional and proactive relationship with attending Radiologists, referrers and support staff
- Promotion and delivery of a high standard of customer service and patient care, acting in accordance with company policies, procedures and values
You will have
- Significant CT modality experience across a variety of machines/platforms
- Deep knowledge of CT governance, resources and systems
- Demonstrate good business and commercial acumen
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Track record in developing and implementing training resources
- Effective communication and professionalism
- Teamwork and good peer relationships
- Current State Radiation License
- AHPRA Registration
