Job Description:
Reports to Operations Supervisor or Surgical Technician as required. Performs services as related to the reprocessing and care of patient use equipment & surgical instruments. Performs Inventory control functions related to the supply areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
▪ An accredited high school diploma or equivalent;
▪ or significant related experience working in a hospital operating room or hospital sterile processing department setting up surgical instrument trays.
▪ May be required to rotate shifts and work weekends & holidays on a scheduled or PRN basis.
Communication
Must possess excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
