Job Description:

This short-term position is important for the success of a 30-month project funded by the Office of Naval Research. The contract award is for $3,000,002, of which $700,231 is for a subcontract to Teledyne Brown Engineering. UT is budgeted to recover $693,605 in indirect costs from July 31, 2024 to January 30, 2027. This project continues a successful collaboration with Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) that garnered over $1.5 million in funding at UT from July 2020 to July 2023, with funds originating from the Office of Naval Research and the US Army. The UToledo team is working with TBE to secure an additional $4M in funding from the Office of Naval Research. Hence, the current subcontract and potential future research collaborative agreements will provide significant revenue to UT and will contribute to the expansion of research efforts at UT funded by the Department of Defense.
