Job Description:
The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) at The University of Toledo invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position. The position, which is subject to budgetary approval, will start August 2026 and may be renewed for up to three (3) years.
The successful candidate will be expected to be committed to excellence in teaching and student success at the undergraduate level. Opportunities for research collaboration with the current faculty are also possible for further professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:
MS in Biology. Strong candidates with a MS degree but having past experience in teaching undergraduate general biology courses will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Biology or equivalent plus experience teaching undergraduate courses in the Biological Sciences
