Job Description:

The Records Management Officer 2 is responsible for performing administrative functions, problem solving, auditing, training, and providing student services by maintaining academic records in hard copy or through one or more of the university’s information systems. This position ensures accuracy of records and adherence to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. This position performs functions across multiple areas within the Office of the Registrar and impacts frontline customer service, email, enrollment, registration, grading, graduation, records integrity, academics, room and event scheduling, reporting, and imaging. The Records Management Officer 2 can work independently and reports to a designated supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
• High School Diploma with at least 3-5 years of practical experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Communication and other skills:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a higher education setting preferred.
