Job Description:

This role will provide essential support to residents engaged in research projects in the Emergency Medicine Department. This role involves assisting with the design, execution, and analysis of research studies, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with institutional and ethical standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Education:
• Bachelor’s degree plus at least two (2) years of post-Bachelor’s work experience.
•Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data management tools.

Required Communication and other skills:
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Must have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
•Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
•Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
•Must work well under pressure and have demonstrated dependability.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related discipline) preferred.
•Previous experience in a clinical research, particularly within Emergency Medicine, is highly preferred.
•Ability to assist in the preparation of research grant applications, abstracts, as well as manuscript preparation and editing is preferred.
