As a temporary admission representative, you will report directly to the senior director of on-campus events and visitation to identify and recruit the highest quality students across all university locations and market segments. You will assist with on-campus initiatives such as daily tours, prospective student meetings and presentations, and portfolio counseling to encourage applications and enrollment. You will track attendance for presentations by adhering to check-in policies and procedures. You will build a network of teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni through prospect outreach and Live Agent coverage. Additionally, you will give individualized attention to stakeholders.

In this role, you will maintain prompt communication with prospective students to provide information about campus visits, educational interests, and to answer all questions. You will stay updated on university policies, events, accolades, and programs by monitoring SCAD resources. You will build partnerships with admission advisers to engage them in recruitment activities and regularly offer feedback to leadership. Additionally, you will assist with on-campus events such as SCAD Days, pre-college programs, and other initiatives. You may travel to school-specific events, information sessions, and other recruitment events.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication, presentation, and customer service skills. They will also excel in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be willing to occasionally travel and work evenings or weekends.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • SCAD experience

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license

Travel required:

  • 10–20%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
