As a visitation and operations coordinator for SCAD FASH, you will uphold the museum’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance. You will lead the implementation of visitation strategies, membership acquisition campaigns, and member engagement initiatives. This includes visitor attendance reports and monitoring membership metrics. You will supervise weekend operations, including student docent oversight and opening and closing procedures, and will promote a welcoming environment for visitors. Additionally, you will ensure that visitors receive museum information upon entry and that the admission and membership processes are followed. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

The ideal candidate has a keen interest in fashion and film. They are willing to learn and follow museum guidelines and are comfortable supervising groups. The confidence to excel in a public-facing role is essential.

Preferred qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional experience in a museum or gallery environment

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
