Providing a safe learning environment for our students, staff and faculty is the core function of the SCAD Department of University Safety. Safety officers will work at various locations and roles throughout the Savannah and Atlanta campuses.
Safety Officer positions include patrol officer and fixed post officer. In both of these roles, responsibilities include deterring undesirable behaviors, writing and inputting reports, conducting visual inspections of facilities, directing traffic, responding to radio calls as needed, calling in safety concerns, completing visual inspections and observing occurrences of areas being patrolled. |

Assistant Manager, shopSCAD

As an assistant manager for shopSCAD, you will train staff to be knowledgeable about the university and all featured artists and works. You will provide excellent customer service, assist in maintaining proper inventory levels of all packaging supplies, and submit work orders as needed. Among other duties, you will ensure that all work is properly inventoried and clearly labeled with accurate prices, and you will maintain accurate vendor information, making changes as necessary. Responsibilities also include the incorporation of new art into the POS system, the prompt relay of customer requests or commissions to SCAD Art Sales and the shopSCAD team, and the creation of a wall map that visitors can view on tablets. During weekly meetings, you will communicate with staff and sales managers about issues, ideas, commissions, or additional needs. |

As a senior editor/colorist, you will produce high-quality short- and long-form media content for multiple platforms under strict deadlines. While creating content, you will apply your expertise in field and studio production, non-linear editing, color correction or grading, lighting, and audio. Among other duties you will oversee the post-production workflow and work closely with the post-production director to enhance it. Human Resources Administrative Coordinator

You will support logistics, planning, and event execution for new hire orientations. Among other duties, you will pull and format job descriptions from the employee database and ensure data is accurately updated. Responsibilities include the preparation and distribution of employee exit forms for an EPSM team, assistance with the weekly employee headcount request process, and logging and tracking additional work requests. Additionally, you will record substitute pay in an Excel spreadsheet, organize and maintain personnel records, and retrieve employee or position information for an EPSM upon request. |
