Student Success Coordinator

As a student success coordinator, you will liaise between the dean of student success and other SCAD leaders, including for the dissemination of key reports, coordination of meetings and events, and responding to telephone and walk-in inquiries. You will provide administrative support to the dean (e.g., calendar management, conduct research on background information for meetings, etc.) and gather information for various reports and expense invoices. You will assist the dean with daily situations involving students, faculty, and staff to determine the correct response. You will also schedule critical meetings for the dean, manage e-commerce submissions, and support the student success department as needed. |
Shop Technician, Production Shop

As a shop technician, you will guide students, faculty, and staff in their use of the shop's tools as well as its techniques and best practices. You will manage the shop's inventory using WebCheckout, ensure supplies are available for student projects, and help troubleshoot technical issues to enhance the learning environment. You will maintain the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of the shop equipment; provide outstanding customer service and help SCAD students from all academic departments meet their goals with shop resources; and anticipate and enforce all shop policies, procedures, and safety measures. You will also assist faculty with class demonstrations and equipment setup and help students with basic fabrication issues and the correct operation of shop equipment. |
ISSO Adviser

As an international student services office (ISSO) adviser, you will oversee all facets of SCAD's student and exchange visitor program (SEVIS). You will run Terra Dotta batch interface with SEVIS and SCT Banner systems and liaise with the SEVIS helpdesk on data fixes. You will also file all F-1 related applications/procedures like extensions of stay and change of non-immigrant status (COS), travel abroad and re-entry signatures/compliance, CPT, OPT, and off-campus work authorization. You will ensure a seamless transition of SEVIS records in Terra Dotta as they migrate from initial attendance records to active records. Your responsibilities will include the management of SEVIS I-20 transfer processes — such as acting as a liaison with other universities on the transfer process of prospective students — and the quarterly registration of SEVIS F-1 files to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You will also manage all transfers for I-20 processing, liaise with admission to determine quarterly transfers, and terminate all non-active SEVIS records in Terra Dotta after the drop/add period. |
Maintenance Technician

As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the high- and mid-rise mechanical and electrical systems in the residence halls and performing general systems maintenance (i.e., light fixtures, HVAC, drain pans, drain pipes), plumbing repairs, and minor appliance repairs. Among other duties, you will schedule contractors for preventative maintenance work, perform daily building walkthroughs to assess needs for improvements, complete work order requests as assigned, maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and furniture, and be on call to handle emergencies where needed. |
