Position Summary: The Physics Tutor provides tutoring services to students currently enrolled in Physics courses at Washburn University.

Essential Functions:
Assist students with mathematical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
Explain and expand on physical concepts.
Guide students to solutions of homework assignments.
Aid students in exam preparations.
Follow the Academic Impropriety Policy.

Non-Essential Functions:

Required Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled at Washburn University.
Must have completed the PS281/282 or PS 261/262 course sequence, as well as MA 151, and have earned a grade of at least a B in each of these courses.
Reliable and professional
Ability to interact well with others
Effective communication skills
