KTWU Digital Media Internship Topeka
The Digital Media Intern will assist in all areas of production, including field and studio production (running camera, audio, teleprompter, lighting, set design) and post production; video promotions for shows, fundraising, social media and station image campaigns; and securing interviews for KTWU local studio productions (IGI, Working Capital and Inspire). The intern will expand their knowledge of shot composition, graphic composition, editing, audio recording, and other various skills required to create programming for broadcast television. The Digital Media Intern will also support the production and marketing teams in managing and optimizing KTWU's YouTube presence. The intern will assist with video uploads, metadata optimization, analytics tracking, and ensuring compliance with KTWU's branding and copyright. Fall, Spring, Summer, or Year-round. The required 128 hours for the internship can be divided up to 64 hours per semester. There is flexibility to exceed these hours, if desired by the intern and depending on projects.
