General Summary
Provide administrative assistance in support of the delivery of special training and/or educational programs, requiring coordination of significant operational activities and high level of discretion/independent judgment in decision making.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate arrangements for delivery of assigned training and/or educational programs, including scheduling, facilities, and materials arrangements, instructor confirmations, and the like; provide on-site troubleshooting.
- Respond to program inquiries from faculty, staff, and the general public.
- Act as liaison to University offices on operational issues and resolving related problems.
- Supervise program registration process; conduct and/or supervise registrations on-site and over the telephone, as needed.
- Perform necessary bookkeeping for assigned programs.
- Coordinate the receipt and reporting of grades.
- Participate in program marketing activities, including development of new marketing materials, administering a market intelligence system, coordinating mailings, compiling competitive data, and the like; assist in evaluation of marketing strategies.
- Write and edit marketing and program materials.
- Support Director and/or marketing staff during contacts with clients.
- Collect, review, compile, and present program evaluations.
- Assist in the development of proposals and contracts.
- Compile operational data, and prepare reports to management and/or clients.
- Coordinate format, presentation, and production aspects for development of new learning materials.
- Oversee work of support staff.
- Perform related Departmental duties, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a business-related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
One year directly-related experience in support of training and/or educational programs, including facilities arrangements.
Knowledge of personal computer basic operating procedures is necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous database management experience, plus experience and/or completion of courses in accounting or bookkeeping, is highly desirable.
