Summer Resident Advisors are integral to the goals of EKU Housing & Residence Life by providing resources, safety and security, community engagement, and personal development to our summer residential students.
Time Commitment & Schedule:
Summer RAs will spend an average of 10 hours per week working at the front desk, planning and executing events, and engaging with residents. In addition to these regular hours, RAs can expect to be on call one night per week and one weekend per month. Flexibility is essential, as schedules may include weekdays, evenings, mornings, and rotating weekends.
Dates of Employment:
For 2025, this position will begin on Saturday, May 17 and continue until Saturday, August 16.
Benefits Package:
Compensation includes a $1100 stipend and free private living accommodation in the summer residence hall. Any additional hours worked will be paid at the hourly rate of $9.

The Summer Camp Assistant (SCA) plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality customer service and operational support for summer camp and conference guests. SCAs assist with building preparation, check-in and check-out processes, guest services, and facility management, all while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Time Commitment & Schedule
Camp Assistants will work an average of 10-15 hours per week providing the above services for our camp and conference guests. In addition to these hours, camp assistants will serve on-call when camps and conferences are on-campus. Flexibility is essential, as schedules may include weekdays, evenings, mornings, and rotating weekends.This position requires adaptability and availability to accommodate the varying demands of summer camps and conferences.

Responsibilities include: mentoring football student-athletes, monitoring the academic progress of football student-athletes, assisting with weekly reports. May work with other Athletes as assigned.
