The Summer Camp Assistant (SCA) plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality customer service and operational support for summer camp and conference guests. SCAs assist with building preparation, check-in and check-out processes, guest services, and facility management, all while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Time Commitment & Schedule
Camp Assistants will work an average of 10-15 hours per week providing the above services for our camp and conference guests. In addition to these hours, camp assistants will serve on-call when camps and conferences are on-campus. Flexibility is essential, as schedules may include weekdays, evenings, mornings, and rotating weekends.This position requires adaptability and availability to accommodate the varying demands of summer camps and conferences.
Dates of Employment:
For 2025, this position will begin on Saturday, May 17 and continue until Saturday, August 16.
Benefits Package
Compensation includes a $850 stipend and free private living accommodation in the summer residence hall. Any additional hours worked will be paid at the hourly rate of $9.

This position is responsible for implementing our residential curriculum that focuses on providing growth, enhancing perspective, and building community. The GRHC provides supervision to the student staff that work within their assigned hall. This position requires you to live in a university-provided and assigned apartment. The GRHC is supervised by a Residence Hall Coordinator. |
