Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Coordinator of the Banking and Financial Services Program will manage the overall operation of the Evans Banking and Financial Services Program. This includes preparing and maintaining budgets, coordinating with industry partners, managing internship and scholarship programs, assisting with student questions, and supervising student worker. Additionally, the Coordinator will collaborate with the marketing and branding team to design and distribute social media communications, newsletters, marketing to industry and student recruitment materials for the program. The Coordinator will monitor program enrollment numbers and oversee program recruitment efforts as well as plan and implement events including the Banking & Finance Meetup, advisory board meetings, annual class trip, and student and faculty travel to conferences. The Coordinator will support the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in Business or Communications is preferred. Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience: One year of experience in higher education, office management, business administration, and/or budgeting is required. Higher education experience in scholarship, development, accounting, and budgeting or advising is preferred. The incumbent must have the education and experience to assist Banking and Finance majors and minors to deal effectively with the needs of the students.
