Job Summary/Basic Functions
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for managing, implementing, and optimizing the University's Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This includes overseeing current HRIS systems, coordinating with vendors, executing HRIS RFPs, providing technical support, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements, generating and analyzing various reports and data, and recommending improvements to HR processes.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Two years of relevant experience. Banner experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and data management. Proven ability to analyze and generate reports, with attention to detail and data integrity. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, HR, and third-party vendors. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to stay current on HRIS technologies and trends.

Job Duties:
- 40% - HRIS Management Manage, audit, and maintain HRIS systems (e.g., Banner, PageUp AST, Performance, and Position Management, HR Slate, Paperless, PENGUIN). Oversee and manage system uploads, upgrades, additions, and integrations, while collaborating with functional and technical teams. Ensure HRIS systems are compliant with accreditation and data requirements, including EEOC codes and full-time position classifications. - (Essential)
- 20% - Reporting and Data Liaison Liaison with internal and external constituents, including third-party vendors, to develop, improve, and maintain current and future systems. Maintain and support data integrity by running queries, analyzing data, and ensuring accurate reporting for various internal and external stakeholders. Prepare reports and complete surveys, including, but not limited to, Board Reports, Affirmative Action Plan, Compensation, Department of Labor, EEO, New Employees, Performance, Veterans, Retention, and Turnover. - (Essential)
- 20% - HRIS Support and Development Provide ongoing support for HRIS, including troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Recommend process improvements, customer service enhancements, and policy changes. Participate in committees and other groups to identify, research, and analyze system improvements. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and objectives. Contribute to short- and long-range planning, tracking, and evaluation of HR goals. - (Essential)
- 10% - Documentation and Training Develop and maintain user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train HR staff and new users on new HRIS processes and systems functionality - (Essential)
- 5% - Trends and Technology Awareness Stay up-to-date on HRIS trends, new products, and service developments. Enhance HR and HRIS knowledge through training, reading, and participation in conferences or user groups. - (Essential)
