Job Summary/Basic Functions

The EKU Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and the Environment is seeking 2 Graduate Assistants for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The successful candidate(s) will work under the supervision of institute faculty members on professional development and career advancement opportunities within the scope of their academic field. Roles and responsibilities under this category may include, but are not limited to, program development/outreach; creating digital/print materials and guides; serving on various committees as a student representative.

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the EKU Graduate School Assistantship program in order to be considered, including but not limited to full-time enrollment with the EKU Graduate School and being in good academic standing. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree from a nationally recognized accredited institution.

Graduate Assistantships are renewable on a semester-to-semester basis, dependent upon the resources/needs of the University.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree from a nationally recognized accredited institution.

Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
