Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking a motivated and reliable undergraduate student worker to assist with essential laboratory operations. This position involves hands-on tasks including autoclaving, maintaining cell culture facilities, and general lab upkeep. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a research-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sterilize lab equipment and hazardous waste via autoclaving
Help maintain cleanliness and functionality of cell culture facilities
Support routine lab maintenance tasks such as restocking supplies and organizing workspaces
