Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Recruitment/Retention Coordinator & Advisor will provide services for advising, recruiting and retaining students at a regional campus. Through active engagement and comprehensive knowledge of the institutions' programs, requirements and support services along with excellent student service, feedback, communication and record keeping skills, incumbent provides intrusive advising to undeclared and developmental students on academic plans and goals, establishes contacts and networks with students at the campus and throughout the community, and coordinates & implements student engagement and success services with the goal of increasing enrollment and retention and to promoting student success.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Experience: - One year of experience working with students in an advisory, recruitment, and/or retention capacity is required. Job requires work of a more advanced nature requiring detailed knowledge and familiarity with procedures and/or detailed knowledge of particular branch of work. Previous relevant experience and/or an appropriate vocational or educational qualification would be necessary

Job Duties:
- 70% - Develops, implements and evaluates recruitment and retention activities with special attention to recruitment and support of minority & under represented students, including non-traditional and first generation students. - ()
- 25% - Serves as Advisor to targeted populations for the purpose of retaining and assisting students in establishing goals and plans, utilizing effective strategies leading to success. - ()
- 5% - Other Duties as Assigned by Regional Campus Director; - ()
