Assistant Professor of Counselor Education Richmond Campus
The CACREP-accredited Counselor Education Program in the Department of Clinical Therapeutic Programs at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor for Academic Year 2026-2027. Applicants should hold an earned Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution/program. ABD applicants may be considered with evidence of a scheduled doctoral defense that occurs no later than May 2026 prior to an August 2026 appointment. Applicants must also hold an active state counseling license and both be eligible for Kentucky clinical counseling licensure and willing to pursue Kentucky licensure within one year. The position begins August 2026.

Visiting Assistant Professor/ Giles Gallery Director Richmond Campus
The Institute for Creative and Collaborative Arts (ICCA) at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a Visiting Professor/Gallery Director in School of Art and Design (SoAD) beginning in Fall 2026. Applicants should hold an MFA or PhD, in studio art, art history, and/or curatorial/museum studies, or a related field at the time of appointment. The ICCA School of Art & Design offers both BFA and BS degrees with curriculum tracks in Art Education, Art History, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Jewelry/Metals, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Instructional Design (MS). The successful candidate will teach introductory to upper-level courses within SoAD, in their areas of expertise. Preference will be given to candidates with curatorial, artwork installation, and teaching experience. Founded in 1973, the EKU Giles Gallery serves the campus, community, and Commonwealth, showcasing multidisciplinary creative work from artists of regional and national acclaim. The gallery is named for Fred Parker Giles, who served Eastern Kentucky University from 1939–64. EKU Giles Gallery is part of the School of Art & Design (SoAD) and the Institute for Creative & Collaborative Arts (ICCA). The University places a high priority on being leaders in the responsible use of artificial intelligence and in building such capacity in our students. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of artificial intelligence pertinent to the discipline and/or a willingness to pursue professional development to acquire such expertise.

An EKU Staff Psychologist assists in the mission of the Counseling Center by promoting personal, social, and career development of EKU students. A Staff Psychologist provides the full range of counseling center services: individual and group counseling, assessment, career counseling, , outreach, education/training of the university community on early detection of distressed students and how to refer, crisis intervention, consultation, referral, supervision, and outcome research. Providing the standard of care services and adhering to professional standards is highly emphasized, including the maintenance of appropriate clinical documentation according to established protocol. Utilizes relevant assessment/diagnostic tools for identification of needs of client. Rotates coverage of after-hours on-call phone. Other duties as assigned by the Director. Salary for this position is $75,000.00
