The Aviation Budget Manager is responsible for overseeing, monitoring and paying all flight program related expenses, to include accounts payable where the source of funding is the aviation flight fee account (221401). These are to include aviation maintenance, Flight Training Center related bills, flight instructor costs and other accounts payable associated with the aviation program. This position will monitor and process accounts payable for aviation maintenance and operations (M&O) accounts (221400), EKU Aviation Foundation accounts and manage program Veterans Administrations (VA) benefits and reconciliations. In addition, this position will assist in developing fees and charges associated with operating the school of aviation and coordinating with the College of Justice, Safety and Military Science budget specialist.
The position reports directly to the Chair, EKU School of Aviation and serves in a
Supervisory capacity over the student flight fee account manager. |

The College of Education and Applied Human Sciences (CEAHS) is seeking multiple student ambassadors for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. The CEAHS Student Ambassadors are responsible for assisting in the creation of a welcoming, positive, and impactful college visit experience within the College of Education and Applied Human Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University. Working primarily with prospective students, families, and guests, the ambassador role is crucial to informing of the academic programs we offer, providing a student perspective of the academic experience, and providing an environment where inquiry is met with informed perspectives. The ambassador position requires consistent reliability, high caliber interpersonal skills, and a desire to work with the public on a regular basis. The ambassador position is responsible for the following:
- Leading tours of prospective students, families, and/or high school students to show CEAHS academic buildings and spaces where our students thrive in their major
- Participate in in-person events which include but are not limited to: Spotlight days (Fall semester), Junior Days (Spring semester), Admitted Student Tours, Maroon Madness visits, and other in-person or virtual events hosted by the EKU CEAHS or Office of Admissions
- Other duties as assigned which relate to assisting prospective students, families, guests, inquiries, and applicants. This may include assisting with office tasks and the management of social media accounts or occasionally taking pictures at events.
-Assist with office operations in the Office of Professional Education Services or Office of the Dean in CEAHS. This will include answering phones, emails, accessing Slate CRM, and other other tasks as assigned.
- Attend and participate in required meetings and training as outlined by the CEAHS faculty/staff and/or the Office of Admissions. |
