Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Eastern Kentucky University Division of Natural Areas is accepting applications for a full-time, temporary staff position of Program Specialist.
The Program Specialist will provide administrative and professional support services for activities of the Division of Natural Areas. The candidate will assist the Director with operations including, but not limited to, communications, human resources processes, recruitment coordination, preparation of reports, and scheduling of programs and events; budget tracking and monitoring, travel/expense voucher processing, and other accounting or financial tasks; planning and implementation of management projects and educational programs and events; and other office functions.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. Preference for experience with administrative assistance and with educational programming. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with undergraduate students and the university community.

Job Duties:
