Director of Financial Aid - 999616 Iowa
The Director of Financial Aid serves as a leader in Drake’s enrollment and revenue management by directing and evaluating financial aid strategy that promotes access to a Drake education in alignment with the university’s mission and strategic plan. The Director works in unison with the Office of Admissions and contracted financial aid optimization consultants in the development and execution of each year’s first year and transfer awarding plan. The Director also coordinates and provides guidance as needed regarding financial aid strategy for graduate and professional programs. The Director will have the opportunity to significantly influence the successful implementation of Workday’s financial aid system. The Director oversees and is responsible for compliance of all financial aid programs for Drake, including Federal, State, and institutional programs. The Director leads the Financial Aid Office consisting of a staff of eight. The Director reports to the University’s CFO and serves as one of five members of the Finance leadership team that provides oversight and strategic direction to the Finance staff. The Director of Financial Aid is expected to support the University Continuous Improvement Plan initiatives and live out the University Core Values.

CPHS Drug Development Fellow Iowa
The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is excited to launch a search for a two-year Post-Doctoral Drug Development Fellow who will focus on clinical pharmacology drug development. This fellowship is the result of a collaborative agreement between Drake University and Vanadro Drug Development Consulting. The fellowship, unique to the Midwest, will provide pharmacy graduates the opportunity to gain a solid foundation and competitive edge within the industry through intensive training in various aspects of drug development. The drug development fellow will work with many different industry partners to provide groundbreaking patient care globally. The fellowship will provide interactions with drug companies, the Food and Drug Administration, research laboratories, and didactic training in numerous aspects of research. Additionally, the fellow will be able to gain teaching experience in Drake’s Doctor of Pharmacy program. This two-year fellowship program will provide post-doctoral education and training in all aspects of drug development with specific focuses in clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics. Some activities of the fellowship will include didactic course work related to various aspects of drug development, interacting with drug companies, researchers and governmental agencies, analysis of data from clinical and non-clinical trials, writing reports related to drug products being developed, and mentoring pharmacy students. Global Affairs Specialist - 100022 Iowa
Drake University is seeking a dynamic and accomplished international education administrator to serve as the Global Affairs Specialist - Asia Programs at Drake University. This role will provide administrative management and functional support for the institution’s degree programs embedded within Asia. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to Drake University’s growth in the space of transnational education, creating access for students around the world to acquire a Drake degree. The GA Specialist will be a team member within the Division of Global Affairs and will report to the Chief Global Affairs Officer and Dean of Global Programs. The Division of Global Affairs reports to the Office of the President. In 2024, Drake established the QU-Drake United College in collaboration with Qingdao University in Qingdao, China. This project offers dual-degree programs in China where undergraduate students earn both a Qingdao and a Drake degree through a jointly developed curriculum. The GA Specialist will play a key role in managing day-to-day administration of the project. In addition, the Specialist will be the primary point of contact for partners in Asia and provide key project management support to ensure intended outcomes are met. The GA Specialist will work closely with Drake University leadership and the leadership of the QU-Drake United College in China to ensure a smooth-running collaboration that results in a cohesive, high-quality program. Drake is actively exploring additional curricular projects in Asia. The GA Specialist for Asia Programs will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development of these programs and will ultimately provide day-to-day management for these projects in addition to QU-Drake United College in China.
