Adjunct Instructor, Astronomy - 200070 Iowa
Essential duties include teaching Astronomy 001, an introductory course for both majors and non-majors. The successful hire will evaluate student performance, assign grades, and interact with students through class discussions. There are two sections of Astronomy 001 in Fall 2024 with a cap of 50 students. These sections are taught twice a week at 11:00am – 12:15pm on Monday/Wednesday, and Tuesday/Thursday. The labs associated with Astronomy 001 are taught by the Laboratory instructor. Assistant Director, Residence Life, First Year Experience - 998981 Iowa
