Job Summary:

Drake University's Zimpleman College of Business invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in economics for Spring Semester, 2025 to teach an upper-division course in "Public Economics."

Course description: Analysis of public sector revenue and expenditure issues including taxation, public goods, externalities, public choice questions, and intergovernmental fiscal relations. Prereq.: ECON 002 [Principles of Microeconomics].

Essential functions include teaching the established course curriculum, evaluating student work, and assigning grades. Instructor will meet periodically with the department chair to discuss how the class is progressing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in economics
College Teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

College teaching experience with full course responsibility
