Job Summary: Drake University is seeking a highly qualified Director of Equipment Operations to oversee all areas of the athletic department’s equipment room and operations. This position is responsible for establishing a philosophy and operational plan for procurement, inventory, disbursement, and maintenance of athletic equipment for 18 intercollegiate NCAA DI athletic programs. The successful candidate will work with coaches to coordinate, purchase, inventory, and maintain all department apparel and gear. Additionally, this position requires preparing budgetary recommendations and monitoring, verifying, and reconciling the expenditure of budgeted funds.

QU-Drake United College, a unique joint degree program between Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and Qingdao University in Qingdao, China invites applicants for two faculty positions for the Fall 2025. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree, or near completion, in Biology or a related area. One position will be expected to teach General and Pre-Professional Biology I (topics include introductory-level cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics) with labs in the fall semester and Genetics and Cell Biology (lectures only) in the spring semester. The second position will be expected to teach General and Pre-Professional Biology II (topics include introductory-level ecology, evolution, biological diversity, and animal physiology) with labs in the fall semester and Anatomy & Physiology with labs in the spring semester.

Job Summary: Be responsible for appearance of designated areas, to include but not limited to: Athletic Field, flower beds, common areas, trees and hardscapes. Operate tractors, mowers and related equipment associated with grounds maintenance. Operate hand equipment, plant, cultivate, care for and maintain landscaped areas and turf. Assist in the care, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Maintain and make minor repairs to buildings, fences, gates, walkways, parking lots, secondary roads and other areas. Operate powered and unpowered equipment to remove snow and ice from sidewalks, steps, parking lots or roadways. Evaluate and perform ice control on campus sidewalks, steps parking lots and secondary roads. Must be able to perform overtime when needed. Assist in hauling and moving of furniture, equipment and other campus related items. Provide support in university event including set-ups and tear downs Performs other duties as assigned
Maintenance Person III	Iowa
This position performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and furnishings at multiple locations on campus. Work includes carpentry, glazing, painting, drywall hanging and finishing, furniture repair, flooring repair, wall hangings, and more. This position responds and repairs issues with floors, walls, windows, and completes inspections and maintenance or cleaning of roofs, gutters, and drains. Performs minor troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on doors, locks, cabinets, desks, closets; repairs door hinges and closers; reports mechanical malfunctions to appropriate parties for resolution; completes service requests (work orders) in academic spaces and in student housing spaces.
