The Digital Ethics course is targeted at both students in technology majors as well as students interested in using the course to fulfill their Values and Ethics general education requirement. Students in the course read, discuss, and write about ethical and social implications of emerging digital technologies including artificial intelligence, data privacy, algorithms, social media, cybersecurity, and intellectual property. Application of ethical frameworks to these areas is also considered. |
