ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Administrator to join our team based at Barrow Island, supporting the successful delivery of our Civil & Electrical Resources projects.

This is a pivotal role to ensure the whole team delivers exceptional service to our valued client.  Reporting to the onsite Superintendent and with a strong focus on rosters and travel administration, you’ll be working on varied administrative tasks ensuring our projects runs smoothly.

This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives on being highly organised, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a passion for contributing to the smooth running of a complex large-scale project.

ABOUT BARROW ISLAND

Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron’s Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia’s Gorgon Project for over 10 years.

Barrow Island provides excellent on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as gym facilities (mixed and separate gyms available for men & women with a variety of fitness classes to choose from), sporting facilities including a football field, golf simulator, bike hire, 2 swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court and a cricket pitch!

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Project Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

Communication:

  • Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries, facilitating communication between project team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Work effectively in shared inboxes

Resource Management:

  • Manage and process timesheets and leave for all project personnel, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Liaise with payroll departments to ensure that employees and subcontractors are paid correctly and on schedule.

Financial Administration:

  • Raise Purchase Orders Project Team
  •  Ensure accuracy in project systems for Client billing

General Office Administrative support:

  • Including but not limited to managing office supplies, uniform stock, office sundries, procurement and customer service.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Site Project Administration role within the Construction and/or Resources sector.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond to evolving project demands and priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate and respond to project needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant project or workforce management software.
  • Must hold valid Australian working rights.
