ABOUT US

Ertech is a proudly employee-owned Australian civil and electrical construction company, delivering high-quality services across the Transport, Infrastructure, Resources, and Defence sectors. We partner with clients in both the public and private sectors, including state and federal governments. Since our humble beginnings in 1981, we’ve built a strong reputation for the quality of our work and the long-term relationships we foster — all driven by our core values of collaboration, courage, and authenticity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ertech is recruiting for a HOTO Coordinator to work on projects that provide critical marine and onshore infrastructure off the coast of Western Australia. The projects will have international scope and present unique challenges and opportunities.

Initially working from our Balcatta office, this individual will then mobilise to Rockingham, WA working Monday – Friday during project delivery, expected to commence late 2025.

Your role:

  • Support the preparation and collation of all required documentation, such as operation manuals, maintenance guides, and as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Work with project teams to schedule and oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems and infrastructure prior to handover
  • Maintain detailed records of handover activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and any outstanding issues are addressed
  • Assist in verifying that completed works meet quality, safety, and contractual standards, identifying any deficiencies that need resolution
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our client and other stakeholders throughout the handover process, ensuring all requirements and expectations are met
  • Act as a liaison between the project team, contractors, and the client, coordinating meetings and ensuring all parties are informed of handover requirements
  • Assist in organizing training for Defence personnel on new systems or equipment, including preparing training materials and scheduling sessions

Your background:

  • Ideally seeking prior HOTO (handover / takeover) experience, preferably within civil construction or Defence projects
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, track project progress, and coordinate documentation effectively
  • Sound communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance, as required for working on Department of Defence projects
  • Australian Defence Force (ADF) experience is desirable
