ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Draftsperson to join our team in Wangara, WA.

As the Draftsperson, you will be reporting to Geospatial Manager, and you will be responsible for responsible for delivering high-quality drafting outputs that support project design, compliance, and construction activities across a variety of civil infrastructure works.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Drafting of Survey Plans and Documentation
    • Prepare accurate survey drawings, reports, and supporting documentation in line with project specifications and industry standards. Ensure that survey outputs are clear, detailed, and suitable for use by engineers, designers, and construction teams.
  • Preparation of A-Spec Documentation
    • Develop and maintain A-Spec compliant documentation to support local government and authority requirements. This includes preparing digital data files, ensuring compliance with GIS standards, and coordinating with design teams to achieve full data accuracy and compatibility.
  • Material / Quantity Take-Off Calculations (Civil)
    • Undertake precise measurements and quantity take-offs for civil construction materials such as earthworks, pavements, and utilities. Provide reliable data to support cost estimates, procurement, and project planning while ensuring alignment with project scope and design specifications.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Draftsperson working within Civil construction industry.
  • Qualification in Surveying, Drafting or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with, AutoCAD, 12d model, Topcon Magnet software’s.
  • Proven experience with A-Spec standards.
  • Sound plan interpretation skills and understanding of civil construction techniques.
  • MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights.
