ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Administrator to join our DEJV team (Duratec & Ertech Joint Venture) supporting our long-term major infrastructure construction scopes in Rockingham.

As the Senior Project Administrator, you will provide leadership and support to the Administration team while ensuring compliance with project security requirements and associated administrative processes across the project.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead, mentor and support a team of Project Administrators.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes, governance, and systems.
  • Oversee the accurate processing and timely submission of timesheets and leave for all project personnel.
  • Address project-related queries in administration functions, ensuring clear and effective communication between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Offer support with mobilisation activities, ensuring personnel are compliant for site.
  • Assist both the Accounts Payable team and project staff by facilitating prompt review, approval, and payment of invoices.
  • Assist with raising purchase orders as required and manage the processing of associated invoices and financial documentation.
  • Collate and prepare monthly reports.
  • Management of personnel access approvals, and permissions for staff, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Assist with security briefings, inductions and training for project staff and subcontractors
  • Assist in the development of procedures to meet security requirements
  • Assist the project team with specific security requirements and reviewing tender packages to ensure security requirements are met

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a project leadership role, with demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and supporting team members.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing, optimising, and maintaining effective business processes.
  • A background in Quality Assurance, EHS, Project Surveillance, highly regarded.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential).
  • Australian Defence background is desirable.
  • MUST hold relevant Australian work rights.
