ABOUT THE ROLE

Ertech is seeking a highly proficient, safety-first Electrical Supervisor to lead our self-performing electrical teams and subcontractors across major infrastructure projects, with the majority of work located within the Perth metropolitan area. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will bridge the gap between design and physical delivery, driving the flawless execution of diverse electrical scopes across both greenfield developments and complex brownfield upgrades.

This role demands a meticulous attention to detail and a deep, practical understanding of High Voltage (HV) / Low Voltage (LV) systems and regulations. As a Perth-based, "on-the-ground" leader, you won’t just manage tasks; you will champion Ertech’s core values of collaboration, courage, and authenticity. Working hand-in-hand with our engineering teams and specialized project support services, your precision and proficiency will be pivotal to ensuring we "engineer confidence, every day."

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Frontline Leadership & Proficiency: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate day-to-day site operations for a multi-disciplined team of Electricians, Apprentices, and specialised subcontractors across our metropolitan project portfolio to maximise safety, quality, and productivity.
• Engineering & Technical Collaboration: Work closely with a team of Project and Electrical Engineers to review drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Apply a sharp attention to detail to proactively identify design or constructability discrepancies before they impact the construction schedule.
• High Voltage & Technical Oversight: Oversee the safe installation, testing, testing coordination, and commissioning of HV infrastructure, substations, switchboards, transformers, and hazardous area installations, ensuring strict adherence to Western Australian electrical standards and utility requirements.
• Greenfield & Brownfield Execution: Deliver end-to-end electrical scopes, ranging from initial trenching and conduit installation on raw sites to asset modifications, tie-ins, and system upgrades on existing infrastructure.
• Integrated Project Support & HSE: Partner with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department and various project support services to champion a positive safety culture, strictly enforce HSEQ management systems, oversee SWMS compliance, and ensure all environmental obligations are met.
• Interface & Coordination: Collaborate with civil construction teams, client representatives, and internal support functions to streamline scheduling, manage planned shutdowns, resolve site issues, and eliminate bottlenecks.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• WA Electrical Workers Licence
• CPCWHS1001 Construction White Card
• LVR / CPR (current)
• OHS Supervisor training or similar
• First Aid
• MUST hold relevant Australian work rights
• Experience in high voltage installations desirable
