About the role:
- Coordinating AST Academy Operations across all training facilities Nationally and in New Zealand, maintaining consistent standards.
- Supporting the Senior Product Manager - AST in ensuring AST team members are trained in all products, brands and Education techniques.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and improving AST Academy procedures and protocols and rolling these out effectively across Australia and New Zealand.
- Working with Sales and Marketing to drive AST Academy attendance.
- Reporting monthly on class attendance by brand and territory.
- Managing class schedules for all territories, ensuring that we are meeting the demand from our clinic customers.
- Developing class content, in conjunction with Brand Manager and Marketing – updating and improving where necessary.
- Facilitating AST Academy class training.
- Set up and overseeing the in-house Clinic at the AST Academy.
- Mentoring and assessing Clinical Educators in product knowledge, brand knowledge and education techniques – rolling out upskilling training as needed.
- Developing competency assessment tools.
- Developing an Education department Induction handbook and keeping it relevant.
- Assisting the Regional Sales Managers with Induction schedules of new educators and account managers.
- Assisting the Regional Sales Managers with updating and reviewing AST Academy procedures and protocols to the sales and education teams.
- Public speaking and being a brand ambassador as required.
- Allocating Brand responsibility to the Educators and helping them to continue to grow
- Actively influence and manage the overall performance of the Education team against KPI’s, goals and objectives of the BU or Support function. Conduct regular conversations and performance reviews.
- Develop and assess ongoing employee performance, providing constructive feedback and improvement action plans/personal development plans; Manage team/employee adherence to compliance, policies, procedures and relevant legislation.

Drive team engagement and morale through effective communication and continuous improvement. Create and actively drive/reinforce a high performance and employee engagement culture, espouse, develop our organisational values and culture.

Ensure effective recruitment of the right people with the right skills in the right positions at the right time.

Ensure effective on-boarding of new employees. Manage the probation period for new employees, ensuring regular feedback is provided, improvement actions instigated if necessary.
Essential:
- Proven Education and Sales Experience
- Sound Computer Skills.
- Driver’s License.
