Are you passionate about aviation and committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality?

We’re looking for a skilled Technical Inspector to join our dynamic team in the F135 MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) sector.

The F135 engine that powers the most advanced fifth-generation fighter in the world – the F35 Lightning II.

 

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Detailed Part Inspection: Thoroughly inspecting components and parts to ensure they meet the necessary technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Parts Marshalling: Organizing and managing parts to ensure accurate tracking and optimal workflow throughout internal processes.
  • Preparing Engineering Disposition Documentation: Preparing detailed engineering reports, ensuring all necessary technical data and documentation is in compliance with industry standards.
  • Pre-Fitment Conformance Checks: Conducting comprehensive checks before part fitment to ensure all specifications are met and to guarantee the successful installation of parts.

 

In this role, you'll be working closely with our engineering team to engage in parts recovery through technical expertise and problem-solving, ensuring that our parts meet the rigorous standards set by the OEM and aviation industry.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced but purposeful environment, can juggle multiple tasks, and prioritize component movement and actions effectively.

This role is suited for someone who excels in organizing, coordinating, and ensuring that all parts are handled with intention, precision and care.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Strong technical background in aviation, particularly in maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and maintain an organized workflow.
  • Experience in parts inspection, documentation, and engineering collaboration.
  • Attention to detail, precision, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset

 

Desirable

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of detailed inspection of the gas turbine engine or components
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
