About the role

Calvary is currently looking for Personal Care Workers to join our friendly care team. This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact on the lives of our residents. Personal Care Workers work within the aged care team to promote the delivery of quality care to residents and their families, demonstrating competence in the provision of resident-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting the daily care and support needs of residents
  • Assistance with activities
  • Being Positive and Encouraging
  • Reliable and Respectful of Choices
  • Being Observant with Excellent Communication Skills

What you bring 

  • Certificate III & IV Aged Care or Individual Support is essential
  • Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
