  • Salary Classification: Administration Officer, Level 5 Year 1-2.
  • Remuneration: $38.39 - $39.26 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.

THE ROLE:

Calvary Mater Newcastle are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Administration Officer to join our team. This exciting role offers the chance to be part of an organisation that values its employees and fosters a positive and supportive work environment.

The Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Quality Manager and the department. The successful applicant will provide high-level organisational support to contribute to a professional, performance based, innovative and responsible customer service culture.

This is a fixed term 12-month contract with the potential for permanency after the 12-month period ends.

DUTIES:

  • Effectively coordinate and provide administration support for the Quality Manager.
  • Maintains and manages metadata of the SharePoint controlled document Centre and other platforms relating to Policy control.
  • Co-ordinate, maintain and scheduling of all meetings in relation to the position including minutes, agendas, report preparation and record management.
  • Preparing draft correspondence and documentation, ensuring it is accurate and professionally presented.
  • High level of confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Maintain Accreditation files and TOR database for Hospital Accreditation purposes.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated superior proficiency in the use of relevant office software systems and processes including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, organise and manage a complex workload and to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity being able to manage conflicting resources and or priorities.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, sensitivity and confidentiality as appropriate to the level of the position in all hospital matters.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with people on all levels.
  • Demonstrated communication, organisational and excellent written skills with an ability to accurately prepare and critically review any written documents.
  • Proven effectiveness as a team player including a flexible self-motivated approach to work and ability to take responsibility, problem solve, take initiative and a capacity to participate in a team.
