About the role

As a Catering Supervisor at Calvary John James Hospital, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of our Catering & Cleaning Services. Reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager, you will oversee daily operations, maintain compliance with food safety standards, and contribute to delivering high-quality service throughout the hospital. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to mentor a diverse team and help maintain excellence in hospitality services.

What you bring 

  • Proven leadership skills in managing a diverse workforce.
  • Experience in staff supervision, rostering, and training within a hospitality or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling requirements for vulnerable people.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities.
  • Ability to conduct audits, compliance checks, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in ordering supplies, managing budgets, and liaising with suppliers.
  • Ability to lead and support the team in the absence of the Hospitality Services Manager
