 About the role

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Antenatal Care Coordinator works with key stakeholders to ensure the service delivered is appropriate, accountable, and meets the need of the individual client and their families.

The Antenal Care Coordinator is responsible for providing clinical leadership and evidence based midwifery practice throughout the antenatal period, including the intake and coordination of the antenatic clinic, and delivery of the Parent Education Program and sessions. The position also provides antenatal care to clients as required. 

What you bring 

• AHPRA Registration in Midwifery 
• Organised and detailed orientated
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
• Good problem solving skills with a strong client focus
• Sound understanding antenatal appointment schedules as per the Australian Clinical Practice Guidelines 2020
• Ability to facilitate Parent Education sessions in line with Calvary's requirements
• Effective communication skills - verbal, written and interpersonal
